The Group Executive Committee

Hilversum International Scout Group is a Vereniging (Association) constituted under Netherlands law and registered with the Kamer van Koophandel (Chamber of Commerce) of Hilversum. The Group Executive Committee manages the day to day running and financial affairs of the Group. The Committee is responsible to the members of the Hilversum International Scout Group. Members are defined as parents of children who have paid their membership fees and annual dues. Any questions about the role of the Committee or the operation of Hilversum International Scout Group should be directed to the Chairman, which can be found on the Contact page.

Quarterly Committee Meetings and Annual General Meeting

The Committee holds quarterly meetings to manage the running of the group. Quarterly Meetings are closed, and open to Committee Members only.

An Annual General Meeting is held each year in March or April at which the Group’s annual finances past and future as well as plans are presented to the membership. At the Annual General Meeting the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary are required to stand for election by members. The Annual General Meeting is open to all current members of the Hilversum International Scout Group.
